Organic fresh yeast 450 g

You achieve a completely different effect with fresh yeast than with dry yeast. There is also a difference in taste. Our organic yeast is not grown from genetically modified yeast strains!

It is a 500 g fresh yeast cube - as fresh yeast contains 66 % water, it dries a little over time and becomes lighter.
We therefore state the weight of the cube directly as 500g to avoid any misunderstandings.

Washed yeast biomass, consisting of native, matured cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, without additives. Light to beige in color, plastic-crumbly consistency, typical smell and taste.

We advise against freezing the yeast. Please store in the refrigerator!
For cost reasons, the yeast is shipped unrefrigerated.
For an additional charge, it can also be shipped in a polystyrene box.

Tip: You can also buy organic dry yeast from us.
