We at the Spiegelhauer organic bakery do not work with ordinary household sugar. We prefer to use organic raw cane sugar and refine our dishes with it. Whether for baking, preserving jam or sweetening many a delicious drink - our light-colored raw cane sugar is always a hit. Its fine, almost caramel-like taste comes from the juice of the sugar cane and simply enhances everything.

Our Demeter beet sugar, on the other hand, has a much milder sweetness. As the name suggests, it is made from sugar beet. However, its properties are the same as those of normal sugar. Whether cooking or baking - beet sugar is always a winner. If you like it a little more neutral, this wonderful product is perfect for you. Try it out for yourself!

Sweet powder

Only our organic dextrose grape sugar is an even more special product. The powder can be utilized by the body particularly quickly and is suitable for both cooking and baking. We have even tested making ice cream with our dextrose and found it to be good! Particularly pleasant: dextrose is less sweet than white, refined sugar. So it's also a great option for those who don't like it quite so intense.

On the other hand, our organic powdered sugar is very classic. It contains no additives and has a great mouthfeel. That's why we prefer to use it for sprinkling on our stollen. But it also cuts a wonderful figure on other cakes - whether plain or in the form of icing. Just give it a try!

Our pink crystal salt is a finely ground rock salt that is not just an eye-catcher. The appealing color comes from the high iron content. But that is not the only excellent ingredient. Our salt generally has a high concentration of trace elements and minerals. It also contains potassium chloride, magnesium and calcium. However, it does not contain any iodine or fluorine.
