ROCK&ROLL® - PATENTED EGG STORAGE

With the Rock&Roll® , eggs are stored naturally, decoratively and antiseptically. They do not require refrigeration and stay fresh just as long or even longer. The eggs do not absorb any foreign odors and are immediately available at the ideal processing temperature.

The right way to lay an egg

Nature has shaped the egg so that it always lies on its side. This is the only way that the hailing cord can hold the delicate egg yolk centrally in the egg white. If the egg is stored upright (regardless of which side is facing upwards), the hail cord becomes slack and the yolk can come into contact with the permeable shell. This allows bacteria and germs to penetrate the egg. For this reason, eggs also lie on their side in the hen's nest.

Rolling keeps you fit

The hen rolls the eggs in the nest regularly. This keeps the hail line flexible and the egg stays fit. The Rock&Roll® is shaped in such a way that the stored eggs roll automatically when you place the bottom one on top. Rolling every two days is not only fun, it also keeps the eggs fresh.

With minerals and light against germs

Rock&Roll® is made from a special granite ceramic. We add rutile to the ceramic mass. This mineral uses photocatalysis to fight germs and bacteria that may be on the shell. This natural effect works in both daylight and artificial light. The ceramic is food-safe. Rock&Roll® can be cleaned in the dishwasher without losing its antiseptic effect.

Egg storage knowledge

Eggs are edible for at least 28 days after laying, regardless of whether they are refrigerated or stored at room temperature. Eggs can normally be kept for longer than this. An odor test after cracking is an unmistakable indicator of this.

Eggs should not be washed for storage so as not to damage the natural protective layer.

Rock&Roll® should not be placed directly in the sun or in the immediate vicinity of radiators. This could cause the eggs to overheat.

Rock&Roll® can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher.
