Part-oiled organic hemp flour

Please dose carefully, the hemp taste is much stronger than with our hulled organic hemp seeds.
When we bake our hemp bread, we mix hemp flour and hulled hemp seed 1 to 1.
In terms of taste, it goes very well with spelt and wheat bread, but also with ancient grains.

Why partially de-oiled and not de-oiled? What should I look out for when buying hemp flour?

A great deal of technical effort is required to fully de-oil the flour, and chemicals must also be used to remove all the fat from the hemp. Partially deoiled flour is only pressed through an oil press and then ground. It is therefore processed much more gently and without the use of chemicals.

How much flour can I replace with hemp flour?

We recommend replacing no more than 10 % of the flour, but you should start with 5 % to begin with and then add more or less the next time, depending on your taste.
The hemp flour is very finely ground, which means that it swells quickly, so there is no need to soak it beforehand.
We recommend using the hemp flour in combination with water, e.g. for doughs, soups, sauces etc.
