Organic potato flakes allow you to make quick, home-made mashed potatoes of the best quality. Your mashed potatoes are guaranteed to succeed:
Preparation (8 portions):
Bring 1 liter of water to the boil and add 2 level teaspoons of salt. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in ½ liter of cold milk. Now slowly and evenly add 240 g organic potato flakes until all the flakes are well mixed. After about a minute, whisk vigorously with a whisk - your creamy mashed potatoes are ready.

When baking, potato flakes not only give bread and rolls extra juiciness, but also improve their freshness. They bind a lot of water during baking, which keeps the dough moist and tastes fresh for longer.
How to use potato flakes for baked goods:
Before making the dough, soak the potato flakes in twice the amount of water. The dough can be a little softer, as the potato starch only fully binds water during the baking process. Potato bread works particularly well in a loaf tin.
Tip for crispy baking decorations:
Press your formed dough piece lightly into potato flakes to create a golden-brown, decorative crust when baking. For optimum browning, bake slightly cooler to prevent the flakes from burning.
