We use gluten-free steamed organic rolled oats for the bread recipe in the instructions.
Please make sure you actually use steamed rolled oats to achieve the best baking results.

You can store enough sourdough for 2 loaves in the jar.
The shape of the jar is ideal for storing sourdough.

The lid is optimally held on the jar by the clamps and the sealing ring, yet the pressure can escape from the jar without it bursting.

The sourdough starter can be kept for at least 2 weeks from the time of dispatch. Please store the sourdough in the refrigerator after receipt and refresh after 2 days at the latest according to the instructions.

With our sourdough you can easily bake your own bread and also start your own sourdough culture. If you buy sourdough starter, you should make sure that you buy fresh natural sourdough, as only this provides the typical bread taste. Dry sourdough does not achieve such a great bread flavor for a long time. Some of the flavor is also lost when the sourdough is dried. In addition, the natural yeasts are no longer active.
