We have wanted to bake a protein bread / lower carb bread for a long time, and now the time has finally come.

With lower carb bread, it is important to us to avoid wheat gluten and animal products.
If you do a lot of sport, you usually reach for animal proteins far too often.
Many cheap protein breads simply contain wheat gluten, also known as wheat protein.

The high fiber content ensures that this bread is very filling.
It has almost twice as much fiber as normal wholemeal bread.

Storage:
This bread is best stored in the fridge. If you want to store it for longer, cut the bread and freeze it, then you can defrost it in portions, e.g. in the toaster.

Instructions:
For 1 loaf, mix 350 g baking mix with 380 ml hot water and 70 ml apple cider vinegar.
Shape the dough into a loaf, roll in a desired decoration (e.g. sunflower seeds, sesame seeds or sliced almonds). Bake at 170 C° for two hours.
Leave the bread to cool well after baking and only slice the next day and then store in the fridge.

May contain traces of gluten and sesame.
