Organic linseed brown EU 25 kg

Also known as flaxseed, germinable.

Linseed is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Hardly any other plant variety has so many valuable unsaturated fatty acids. One of these is alpha-linolenic acid, which makes up around 50% of organic linseed. Other valuable ingredients are mucilage, linamarin, protein, lecithin, sterols, plastochromanol, vitamins B1, B2, B6 and E as well as nicotinic, folic and pantothenic acid. The valuable ingredients can be better absorbed by the body if the linseed has been crushed beforehand. The linseed is packaged in an environmentally friendly parchment paper bag!

Linseed can also be used to grow sprouts - the sprouts are suitable for adding to bread baking and soups or for mixing into salads.

Shelf life at least 6 months from dispatch (see label).

Instructions for sprouting

Soak the linseed for about 4 hours
Drain off the water and rinse well again with fresh water
Drain the seeds and then place in a suitable sprouter and leave to germinate at room temperature for 2 to 3 days
Spray with water two to three times a day
The sprouts can be harvested when they are about 3 - 4 mm long
