Organic grape seed flour 25 kg
Grape seed flour is particularly valuable, but unfortunately seeds in fruit are often perceived as unpleasant when eaten. Seedless grape varieties have therefore become particularly popular. But now there is a trend in the opposite direction. Nutritionists have recognized how valuable the ingredients in grape seeds are. Some products now make use of the health-promoting properties of grape seeds. Grape seed oil, grape seed extract and grape seed flour not only enrich the diet. Grape seeds are also an important ingredient in beauty care and dietary supplements.
Tradition and innovation...
... can complement each other wonderfully. That's why we are always on the lookout for promising products for our bakery that make our baked goods even better. Grape seed flour is one such product! Its heat-resistant properties ensure that the valuable secondary plant substances are retained during baking. The addition of grape seed flour gives baked goods a hearty, spicy flavor. Although gluten-free grapeseed flour cannot be used as a sole flour substitute for baking, it is suitable for breading vegetables, meat and fish. Mixed with wheat, spelt or rye flour, it can be used to make different types of dough. The proportion of grapeseed flour should be around 5-7%. It can also be added to smoothies, which are currently very popular. However, it is not advisable to combine it with dairy products. The milk protein would weaken the positive effect of the grape seed flour.
Grape seed flour is currently part of our product range and is also used daily for baking, so we always keep an eye on the quality. The grape seeds that are ground into grape seed flour come from Spanish organic winegrowers, who are subject to the same requirements as in Germany due to the EU Organic Commission. To obtain 1 kg of organic grape seed flour, the seeds of 50 kg of organic grapes are required. These are gently dried and ground in special facilities. Prepared in this way, the grape seed flour can be optimally utilized by the body. The nutritional and physiological benefits of grape seed flour are therefore significantly higher than those of whole grape seeds, which are consumed together with the fruit. The oil is pressed in an oil mill so that the grape seed flour does not become rancid and has a very long shelf life.
And why are grape seed products so healthy?
Grape seeds are full of OPCs. This abbreviation stands for a group of substances that are among the most effective antioxidants. And antioxidants in turn are able to fight free radicals, which are responsible for cell damage and ageing processes in our body. We can do a lot to maintain our health by regularly consuming valuable, health-promoting foods. If we eat a varied and conscious diet, we can save ourselves expensive and often less effective dietary supplements.

Uses
Grape seed flour is very easy to process. The mixing ratio is 5-7% in bread and baked goods of all kinds. For a regular supply of OPC, you should consume one teaspoon of grape seed flour every day. Ideally in combination with foods rich in vitamin C, e.g. a little lemon juice.
Why do we use this grape seed flour?
We previously used grape seed flour from German winegrowers, but the taste was not as good as this one from Spanish winegrowers. It also delivers better microbiological values (lower bacterial load). This is all due to the fact that the grape seeds are processed quickly. In addition, the same rules apply to Spanish and German winegrowers for organic certification.
Note: You can use grape seed flour to color baked goods without having to resort to malt or sugar couleur.
