Dried sourdough is intended for the production of sourdough breads without having to prepare a sourdough beforehand.
The sourdough powder is simply added dry to the flour, making it easy to bake sourdough bread at home.

Can be kept for at least six months from delivery.
Packed in a resealable bag.

Simple mixed rye bread with dried sourdough

Ingredients:

30 g dried organic sourdough
560 g rye flour
400 g wheat flour
730 g water (30 °C)
23 g sea salt
25 g fresh yeast
30 g butter (alternative)
10 g enzyme-active baking malt (alternative)
20 g enzyme-active baking malt (alternative)

Preparation:
Knead all the ingredients together well and then leave to rest for half an hour so that the dough can rise a little.
Flour the table a little and form a large loaf or two small ones.
Place the loaves in proofing baskets or in a bowl lined with a floured cloth.
Now leave the bread to proof (30 to 60 minutes).
Preheat the oven vigorously (preferably to 250 °C) and bake for one hour.
Reduce the temperature to 220 °C after 15 minutes.
