Organic Cinnamon Cassia

This universally popular spice goes just as well with sweet dishes such as rice pudding and cakes as it does with savory dishes (e.g. in Indian cuisine). Cinnamon comes from the bark of the cinnamon tree. The bark is peeled off, dried and then used as a spice. We use cinnamon in our apple cake as well as in our plum cake.
