Everyone is probably familiar with the typical stollen. This specialty from Saxony has become a typical Christmas treat all over the world. But what not so many people know: There are countless variations and refinements that make the yeast pastry even more enchanting. These include our fabulous marzipan stollen.

We are building on a long tradition, as it was back in the 17th century that marzipan found its way into stollen. The almonds, a particularly luxurious commodity at the time, only found its way to Saxony via detours, but its potential was quickly recognized. The enchantingly bittersweet marzipan was ideal for the royal Stollen pastry and was quickly combined with it.

Of course, we only make our marzipan stollen from pure organic ingredients by hand. The recipe has been passed down through generations and refined again and again until today's product was created. Over 5% of the dough consists of marzipan paste - just as it should be for a stollen like this.

This mass is divided into small pieces and incorporated into the dough. Traditionally, dried grapes are also added at this point. Of course, we also offer marzipan stollen without raisins, as we know that these are not everyone's (and everyone's wife's) cup of tea.
