The Denk bread pot made of breathable CeraNatur® ceramic is ideal for storing bread and pastries. The combination of unglazed ceramic and natural linen cover creates an ideal climate for storing baked goods. Both materials have a moisture-regulating effect and allow air to circulate in the bread pan. Bread and pastries stay fresh for longer and retain their original taste.
Mold growth is effectively prevented if stored correctly*. A ribbed base prevents the baked goods from resting directly on the bottom and also promotes air circulation.
Bread baked with the Denk Bread&Cake baking plate fits perfectly in the large bread pan. The handmade, beautifully shaped object will decorate any kitchen and will give pleasure for a long time thanks to its high, stable quality.

The bread pan should be stored away from the sun and as cool as possible in the kitchen, pantry or cellar.

Our tip
The colder and drier the air in the room, the quicker your bread will dry. You can delay this by additionally wrapping the bread in a paper bag or sandwich paper.
Special CeraNatur® ceramic
We have developed a breathable version of our ceramic for our storage pots. This improves air circulation. At the same time, however, this ceramic is not waterproof. The color of the ceramic shimmers in beige-brown tones. Darker and lighter areas can alternate on the piece. Black speckles can also occur. These individual characteristics underline the natural production process and do not constitute grounds for complaint.
Cleaning
The bread pan should be regularly wiped out with vinegar water. This removes crumbs and bread residues. If intensive cleaning is required, the bread pan should be cleaned with water, a brush and washing-up liquid or vinegar water. It should then be left to dry out in the air for approx. two days. The linen cover can be washed at 60° C in the washing machine. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
