This is the Celtic pot

Coburg is located in the historic Celtic country. The Celts were excellent ceramists and revered fire. That is why we have named our fireproof cookware the Celtic pot.

The Celtic pot made of glazed CeraFlam® ceramic is designed for cooking and roasting over an open fire. It can be used on a charcoal grill, a gas grill, on a fire bowl or on the Denk roasting fire. Of course, it can also be used in the oven. The Celtic pot loves it hot and fiery.

The Celtic pot frying plate is ideal for frying fish, prawns or small pieces of meat. It can also be used as a lid or trivet.

Simple and delicious cooking with the Celtic pot

Place the Celtic pot griddle directly over the flame. It does not need to be soaked beforehand. After a few minutes, the ceramic is hot and the frying pleasure can begin.

Thanks to its special glaze, you do not need any fat for frying. This is not only health-conscious, but also allows roasting aromas to develop much more intensively.

The Celtic pot frying plate is tested food-safe. Unlike metal pots, CeraFlam® does not oxidize, which affects the taste. You can enjoy the pure, unadulterated taste.

Once everything is ready, you can serve it directly on the table with the Celtic pot frying plate. Your roasted food stays hot for a long time, because the Celtic Pot griddle stores an enormous amount of heat.

Easy to clean

The casserole dish can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand with a brush and washing-up liquid. For stubborn crusts, simply use bicarbonate of soda / baking powder. Depending on the intensity and duration of use, burn marks and frying residues can burn onto the ceramic. These traces of use are part of the Celtic pot frying plate. They are evidence of great cooking experiences. Discoloration or craquelure in the glaze have no influence on the function or taste. They are therefore not grounds for complaint. After cleaning, the Celtic pot griddle must be dried out thoroughly. Residual heat in the oven is ideal for this. Otherwise, it is sufficient to leave the dishes to dry with the unglazed underside facing upwards. After drying, rough salt residues may form on the glaze. These can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
