What is an almond stollen?

An almond stollen differs from a typical stollen in two main ways: Firstly, no raisins are added to the dough and secondly, the finely ground almonds provide most of the sweetness. The result is a simply fabulous treat that is further enhanced by the perfect buttering.

Due to the high proportion of organic almonds, this cookie also has a slight marzipan note. Our exquisite, hand-picked spices, candied orange peel and lemon flavoring really bring out this very special aroma during the baking process and round off the taste perfectly!

By the way: our almond stollen is of course also based on years of experience. The basis is the dough from our original Stollen recipe. However, this is enhanced and refined with a higher almond content and many other tricks. Naturally, we only work with the best organic raw materials and provide you with a completely natural and simply irresistible Christmas treat.

Variations for every taste

Whether you have a large family or a single household - we not only offer organic almond stollen in different sizes, but also in a wide range of variations. So there is guaranteed to be something for everyone! For example, try our 1kg version with the fine, classic thick layer of powdered sugar. For connoisseurs, on the other hand, we definitely recommend the 2 kg version.

If, on the other hand, you don't like the powdered sugar so much and would rather have the almond flavor in the foreground, then our unsweetened variety is perfect for you! How to make almond stollen a special treat

To ensure that your almond stollen stays delicious for as long as possible, it is best to keep it in the fridge at a temperature between 3°C and 8°C. This way you can enjoy it for a maximum of 30 days. Take it out again about 1 hour before you want to eat it - so it can slowly warm up at room temperature. It is then best served on a stollen board.

Our tip is also to always cut pieces out of the middle. You can then push the stollen back together again. This guarantees that it retains the moisture that characterizes it. Of course, the foil bag supplied also protects it from drying out.
